Who We Are

CMHB is a team of researchers who started working together in 2021 with the objective to explore the relationships between climate, mobility, health and human behavior. Publications in 2021 and 2022 signaled the start of an ambition towards greater academic and societal goals.

We registered as a Non-Profit in February 2024. CMHB seeks to bridge the gap in research, advocacy, policy discussions and implementation on climate change, mobility, health and behaviour through research-based evaluations.

Dr. Hayford Alufar Bokpin is a researcher with significant interest in the dynamics of Migration, climate change, Gender and health.

Dr. Martin Gameli Akakpo

Licensed Psychologist
Gameli is a Licensed Psychologist with an interest in how people find and use information. Climate information is encountered through personal experience and other sources like the internet.

Industrial and Organisational Psychologist
Sylvia, an Industrial and Organisational Psychologist and Climate Mental Health Advocate, currently pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology at the University of Ghana.
